# SAMPLE BRIEF (fictional) — what the client sent, unedited
> This is a fictional brief written by DeckDash to demonstrate the service. ReLoop, its founders and all numbers are invented.

hey! need a seed deck by thurs, raising ~$1.2M (SAFE). here's my notes dump sorry it's messy

company: ReLoop — returnable packaging for quick commerce (10-min grocery apps) in bengaluru
problem: every q-comm order = 1-3 single use plastic/paper bags + insulated pouches for cold stuff. apps spend money on it (we think ~Rs 6-9 per order on packaging, from 2 ops managers we interviewed), customers hate the bag pile, city plastic rules getting stricter
solution: sturdy reusable totes w/ QR, rider collects empty totes on the NEXT delivery (no extra trip), we wash + return to dark stores. app pays per use not per bag
pilot: 3 dark stores, 1 q-comm partner (can't name them, NDA), 8 weeks Jul-Aug 2026
 - 41,200 orders shipped in reloop totes
 - return rate 92% (by day 14)
 - cost per use Rs 4.10 vs Rs 7.40 for their current single use packs
 - NPS-ish survey: 71% of customers preferred totes (n=1,180)
business model: charge Rs 5.50/use. our cost Rs 4.10 now -> target Rs 3.20 at 50 stores (wash at scale + tote life 120 uses)
market: bengaluru alone ~ 1.1M q-comm orders/day (our estimate from public statements, rough), top 8 indian metros maybe 6M/day
 => at 5% of bengaluru orders = 55k uses/day = ~Rs 11 Cr/yr revenue (check math)
competition: single use = status quo. some laundry-style reuse startups in EU (e.g. returnable pkg services) but not built for 10-min delivery. nobody local doing rider-collect
why us: Asha (CEO) ran dark-store ops 4 yrs at a q-comm co; Vikram (CTO) built reverse logistics at a 3PL; Neha (ops) - washing/sanitation background food industry
ask: $1.2M seed -> 18 months. use: 45% ops/wash hubs, 30% tech (tote tracking), 15% totes inventory, 10% G&A
milestones: 50 dark stores + 2 partners by end of 2027, contribution positive per use by month 9

ClearShift — clinic shift scheduling (fictional)

Sales deck · 9 slides

Before: the messy brief

# SAMPLE BRIEF (fictional) — what the client sent, unedited
> Fictional brief written by DeckDash to demonstrate the service. ClearShift and all numbers are invented.

need a sales deck for clinic owners, 10ish slides, we demo next week to a dental chain (6 clinics)
product = ClearShift, shift scheduling + leave + swaps for small clinics (5-80 staff). web + whatsapp reminders
pains we hear: rota in excel/whatsapp groups, last min no-shows, nurses swapping shifts informally & manager finds out on the day, overtime surprises at month end, compliance (min staff per shift)
features: drag/drop rota, auto-fill from availability, swap requests w/ manager approve in 1 tap, whatsapp shift reminders 12h before, coverage alerts if a shift drops below min staff, overtime tracker, export to payroll csv
results (from our 14 paying clinics, avg over first 90 days, our own data):
- rota time per week 6.5h -> 1.5h
- unfilled shifts per month 9 -> 2
- overtime hours -18%
pricing: Starter Rs 2,500/mo up to 15 staff; Growth Rs 6,000/mo up to 40; Multi-site Rs 12,000/mo up to 100 + Rs 100/extra staff. 30 day free trial, onboarding done by us in 2 days
how it works 3 steps: import staff list (csv), set shift templates & min staff rules, publish rota -> staff get whatsapp
objections: "staff won't use another app" -> no app needed, whatsapp + web link. "data?" -> hosted in india, role-based access
offer for chain: 2 clinics pilot free 60 days then multi-site plan

Q3 QBR for the board on the 20th. pls make it look decent, last one was 30 slides of excel screenshots lol. max 10-11 slides

Northwind Coffee Roasters (we roast + sell beans online, wholesale to cafes, 2 own cafes)
Q3 2026 numbers (Jul-Sep):
revenue total 1.84 Cr (Q2 was 1.61 Cr) -> +14% qoq
 - online D2C 0.78 Cr (Q2 0.66)
 - wholesale 0.71 Cr (Q2 0.63)
 - cafes 0.35 Cr (Q2 0.32)
gross margin 46% (Q2 44%) - green bean prices eased in aug
monthly revenue: jul 0.58, aug 0.61, sep 0.65 (Cr)
subscriptions: 2,140 active subs end of Q3 (1,720 end Q2), churn 4.1%/mo (target <4)
wholesale accounts 63 (+9 new, lost 2)
wins: launched 250g subscription, new roaster running (capacity +40%), got 2 hotel chains as wholesale (one is 11 properties)

Q4 priorities: diwali gift boxes (target 9,000 boxes), fix cafe 2 (new menu + hours) or decide to close by Jan, hire wholesale sales rep, churn under 4%
asks to board: approve 22 L for gift box inventory, decision framework for cafe 2
